The first photo of the new Batman trailer is here! Can you believe it? Well you will have to wait until the end of the post to see it!
Production of Shattered Reflections is coming along nicely. We will be posting some cast profiles here shortly, you may have seen some over at the IndieGoGo page but we’re going to bring them over here as well so you can get to know some of our new cast members!
In addition, in the coming month or so we will have a new featured posting that relates to our past experiences in making a web series…more on that later. We’re also going to start posting some great news and insight into movies both Hollywood and Indie starting with this one below…a leaked photo of the new Batman trailer!
Yes. I’m sorry. That was mean. But honestly, we do have some exciting stories coming about new movies in the near future so stay tuned!

Summer Time and Movies

We’ve been some slow updaters lately. I want to say it’s because we’re lazy but unfortunately it isn’t that easy of an explanation. To the contrary we’re actually really busy, so busy that we do not even have time to make updates! Crazy right?
Well that is about to change because summer is right around the corner! It’s funny to think that around this time last year we were gearing up for the production of the second half of Emergence and here we are in production on our next film, Shattered Reflections. Have you heard of us talking about that? If not then there is something you must do. You must donate. I mean you don’t have to but you know it would be very nice and we would be eternally grateful AND it comes with rewards such as credit in the movie. You may even get a t-shirt! If you want to donate check out that donate box over in the sidebar on the right.
This summer is going to be a summer for shorts. We have the big film we’re finishing up but we’ll also be doing shorts and we’ll be bringing out some behind the scenes from Poppy Warriors which is unfortunately damaged beyond repair. We have not been able to get it working so it looks like that is going to be a movie that will be another memory. We had a lot of great people work on that film and we’re sad to have all their hard work go to waste but we all had a great time so we can at least walk away with something positive! And the behind the scenes are going to be awesome!
Have you seen any good movies lately? I just recently saw Sucker Punch and Insidious both of which were pretty good. The soundtrack in Sucker Punch was phenomenal and the opening scene was probably one of the most epic scenes i’ve ever seen. I’d definitely recommend it. Insidious also has some great scares which I have not seen in a horror movie in a LONG time. Any other movies out there you recommend? What movies are you excited for this summer?

Emergence Episodes Behind the Scenes #5

It’s a sad day. Today we are releasing the final piece of content for Emergence Episodes. You will see some shots from the final days of shooting and as you’ll see everyone said it sucked filming…mainly because the last few days we had them out there was in the blistering hot heat of Texas…in the summer. Our final day of shooting the zombies in the field it was about 105 degrees. I don’t think they enjoyed that too much, especially with blood all over them.
But as people learned, it wasn’t an Infused Films set unless you got dirty…and there was a lot of that with all the fake blood and everything we were playing around with.
I want to thank everyone who watched the entire series. We appreciate your dedication and we hope you stick around with us for our future movies!

Spring Break at Infused Films

Hey there!
Hope everyone out there is having a great Spring Break, assuming you are getting a break! It has been awhile since we have made a post. I’m happy to say it’s not because we have been lazy but instead we have been really busy!
Many of you have been asking about Poppy Warriors and what the progress is on the film so let me give you the scoop. The hard drive crashed. We did not have a backup (yes I know, it’s dumb). Good news is the hard drive is in the shop right now and we should be able to recover the files off of it. Unfortunately we’ll have to re-edit but it shouldn’t take too long. We have a lot of behind the scenes footage we’ll be putting together also for the future…can’t wait to show that because we had a blast on set.

“I Want It Now” – Episode 6 Ending Dubbed Featurette

There is a secret video stored deep within the vaults at the Infused Films studios that we have been waiting a long time to unveil. It has been dusted off and cleaned up and we are really excited to show it to you.
We made this video about a year ago when we had finished filming the first half of the movie. We were recording voiceovers with Billy Joe (Darrel) and Max (Zane). When we were watching the end someone talked about the Asian videos that are always dubbed over and the next thing you know we are dubbing our own part 1 ending. The best part about this was it only happened in two takes. They talked about what they would say and then just ran with it.
Darrel plays the parts of himself and Zach. Zane plays himself and Jen. It’s pretty great. We had a lot of fun making it and I hope you have a lot of fun watching it.
