During the course of our Indie Go Go page, we were offering up some cast profiles so the potential funders could get to know the people acting in the film. I wanted to bring that to our own website so everyone that follows us can get to know who will be in our latest film. We have a great cast that includes many great people active in the Dallas/Fort Worth acting community. It has been a pleasure working with these talented people and we wanted to give them some recognition from us for all their hard work so here it goes!

Stephanie Owens-Carter

The role of Kaitlin Stephenson in Shattered Reflections will be played by Stephanie Owens-Carter who you may remember from Emergence: Episodes. She came to us with this idea for Shattered Reflections a few months ago and we were excited to join the project. This story is entirely hers, written partly from true events. She has also been the primary producer of the film and the main actress. Here is a short biography:

Stephanie Owens-Carter grew up in San Antonio under the influence of theater with a heavy concentration in musical arts. With roles such as Sandy in “Grease” and Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” she quickly became attached to acting. Her first role was as a featured Buckle Bunny in “8 Seconds” but quickly transitioned to commercials and voice-overs. After a hiatus, she returned to acting with a recurring role in the Fox television series “The Good Guys” starring Bradley Whitford, Colin Hanks, Jenny Wade and Diana Maria Rivas. She has since appeared in several short films which led her to create the film “Shattered Reflections,” to be entered in film festivals around the country.

Leslie Hippensteel

A new face to Infused Films, Leslie Hippensteel will be playing the role of Sienna. She has been a great addition to the cast!

Leslie Hippensteel, a native of New Orleans, graduated in 2009 with her Master’s in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University. Since graduation, Leslie has explored and enjoyed the film industry all over the South. She is currently a lead role in the psychological thriller, ‘Rook’ in Shreveport, LA, and is also the new spokesperson for Ashley Furniture Homestore in DFW.
